My role at ITV is head of programme strategy for ITV3, so my main responsibility is constructing the ITV3 schedule for the year, making sure it's targeted at the right audience, making changes when necessary, we keep a very close eye on the competitors so sometimes we make changes according to what the main competitors are doing, and also the rest of the ITV channels, so we work as like a family of channels, so for ITV3 to keep a close eye on what ITV1, 2 and 4 are doing and because we always want to be a complementary portfolio of channels, sometimes I need to make changes in accordance with the other ITV channels. So I came straight from university to ITV, I did a dissertation on scheduling, as you do, you know. Working at ITV is a really good environment, good experience - we have an open plan office so it's really good, you really feel like you work as a team, especially when there's a number of channels all in the office.
And if that wasn't enough

Equality & diversity
At ITV, equality in the workplace is just a part of what we do. That’s why, whatever your age, gender, disability status, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or family circumstances we make it our business to make sure you’re treated with fairness and respect. We’re dedicated to offering flexible working supporting all our colleagues, and when it comes to recruiting and retaining employees with a disability, we’ve been officially recognised for this.
But our ‘two-tick’ status is just the start of it. We also play a big role in both national and industry-specific diversity forums – investing in finding and developing new and diverse talent. Because, at the end of the day we want our workforce to represent the audience it serves. It’s a pretty big goal, but one that we get closer to every day.
