This year ITV will be offering specific opportunities for 14 – 17 year olds.  As part of the national Work Inspiration campaign we are offering a range of exciting and relevant opportunities that will give you a taster of the world of work and inspire you to think about future career options.

All work inspiration placements will take place between the beginning of May and the end of June 2010, in London, Leeds and Manchester. 

As the 2010 scheme will be a pilot year for ITV the application closing date was Friday 12^th March.  If you missed the date don’t worry as you will be able to apply again from September 2010.

I am over 18 and in full-time education:

You are eligible to apply for a work experience placement.  Our placements are usually 2 to 4  weeks.  During this time you will be able to join in with the team through a structured plan.  Please note that our placements are not paid.

I am over 18 but no longer in full-time education:

You are not eligible to participate in unpaid work experience.  But you can apply for one of our work shadowing opportunities.  These are completely voluntary.  And though you won’t be able to participate in the team’s activities, you will be able to observe what they’re doing.
