- Help understand what our customers are trying to achieve, and what their business challenges and market insights are
- Work with the the Sales team to develop exciting and creative ideas that nail our clients' briefs

We also have our very own marketing team in Commercial who work hard to raise the profile and drive the reputation of ITV to commercial customers. They’re also responsible for the industry-leading ITV (Upfronts) Gala, Regional Showcase and our sponsorship of Advertising Week Europe, which help teams to build stronger relationships with customers.
Based at our Grays Inn Road location, Sales Operations makes up almost 50% of the Commercial function and is mainly responsible for making sure that airtime deals are delivered as per agreements with agencies across our family of channels and also on our online platforms. Sales teams in these areas each work on a dedicated agency portfolio and work hard to maximise revenue opportunities wherever possible.
Other parts of Sales Ops forecast and report on our ratings during ads breaks, providing valuable information for our sales teams when pitching to new brands against new and existing shows. Teams in Sales operations also oversee the supply and demand of advertising across our channels, to ensure we deliver on what has been agreed, within OfCom guidelines.
