Here’s an overview of our key HR teams…
HR Business Partnering
Each of our Business Partnering teams are aligned to a specific part of our business – such as Commercial, Channels, OPI Finance, Legal and Technology – and work closely with their business area to help deliver our overall strategy. That might mean supporting development opportunities, talent management and succession, or restructuring, and each team is comprised of a number of roles including an HR Manager and Head of HR who report into an HR Director
HR Services & Operations
HR Services is the team responsible for HR ticking over here at itv. Based in Manchester, they’re the first port of call for all HR queries which means it’s their job to manage all the transactional activity and other admin that flows through HR. That’s over 3,300 contractual documents, 160 flexible working applications, and 550 season ticket loans each year. And that’s not even scratching the surface.
HR Operations are the people who support all our HR activity – like making sure all our policies, procedures and processes are up to date and ready to go if new employment legislation is passed. And that’s on top of essential project work like the introduction of new HR systems, the integration of new businesses like UTV, and the review of HR suppliers like Occupational Health or career transition support.
Reward & Pensions
At itv, we’re big on rewarding excellence, and our Reward team – with roles ranging from Head of Reward to Reward and Benefits Analyst – play a huge role in recruiting, developing and retaining talent by doing just that. Responsible for our overall reward strategy, they take care of the whole process from delivering our brill rewards and benefits package to helping us live up to our reputation as a diversity and equality focused employer by monitoring equal pay. And when it comes to pensions, our Pensions Team is there to support employees who leave and join us, and anyone else who needs advice and guidance on the best option for them.
Resourcing, Talent & Development
We’re not just committed to helping people find careers here at itv – we’re here to help anyone who’s already on the team to really make the most of all available opportunities, both on the job and workshop based. Which means our Resourcing, Talent & Development team are responsible for giving everyone the tools they need to help them be the best they can be. HR Systems In our HR Systems Team, you’ll find an HR Systems and Management Information Manager supported by a team of Analysts. They’re the people who make our systems work – like our HR database, which contains the records of around 22,000 employees, ex-employees and emergency contacts – and keep our business running smoothly.
