Our Marketing and Research team is filled with creative masterminds who decide what we see on our screens. Packed with the best in high-quality programming from dramas, soaps, celebrity and reality to factual, news and sport, the team is always searching for the next big thing, what’s hot and what’s not, up-and-coming talent and new strands across all our output. This all adds up to a variety of incredibly exciting and rewarding careers.

We work with the best production companies in the UK and the world including ITV Studios, to make sure what you watch is current, relevant and the best. We also knit the commercial side together with the creative side of our business.

With many parts of the business contributing to what goes on TV, we make sure we’ve got all angles covered, from commissioning to transmission, marketing, research and insight, promotion and branding to the content production behind the red button.

In a nutshell, working here means controlling everything we put on screen, online and even on mobile. A job in Marketing and Research is not without challenge, but with vision, a creative and strategic mindset and a real focus on teamwork, we’ll continue to deliver engaging viewing over and over again.

TV Marketing and Media - ITV Network

The Network Marketing and Media team look after all marketing for our broadcast and online brands and services to create the most watched, most loved and most talked about family of brands in British broadcasting. Working hand in hand with editorial and product teams, they devise the strategy and execution of advertising and promotional campaigns for programmes and channels, the media buying and placement of promotional support as well as the branding and design of ITV brands. This helps build strong relationships with our audiences and attract maximum numbers of viewers and users. They work in partnership with the other Group Marketing departments to do this; the Audiences team  for the best insights and trends to inspire our work, and ITV Creative to generate the most creative and cut-through advertising.

ITV Studios Marketing

ITV Studios Marketing is responsible for growing their brand reputation both in the UK and internationally. They develop a detailed ITVS Marketing Plan aligned with the goals and objectives of the Global Entertainment, Formats, UK and International team. They make sure the Marketing team delivers best-in-class after-sales service for key TV properties sold to international markets and develop plans to raise the profile of new ITVS formats internationally.

Supporting growth of all international offices and making sure they reflect the ITVS brand in all of their activity is an important part of the team’s role and they also work alongside our research team to make sure regular, relevant, up-to-date, quality research and insight is provided to all relevant members of the ITVS team to boost sales and marketing efforts. In addition, the team support the Consumer Products marketing team in the development of effective marketing activity around key DVD releases and have a holistic view of all ITVS activity, both domestically and internationally, so key international properties are represented in marketing prioritisation where appropriate.
