There are 11 main News regions, plus the ITV Political Unit, across England, Ireland, Wales and the Channel Islands. We also produce 3 critically acclaimed and award winning current affairs & factual programmes at ITV Wales and on the borders of Scotland at ITV Border. Careers in each region are broadly split between editorial roles, which include producers, reporters, presenters and newsdesk journalists, alongside technical jobs in the studio gallery and out on the road (production specialists and camera operators). We are also widely recognised for our award winning current affairs programmes, including a 2015 Bafta for our Welsh current affairs programme Y Byd Ar Bedwar ("The World on Four")

With seventeen live and pre-recorded flagship programmes on weekdays, plus local bulletins during Good Morning Britain, at lunchtime and after News at Ten,  ITV’s ten news regions deliver high-quality, news coverage tailored to their local audience - on-air and online. Our award winning regions are recognised by the industry, no more than an accolade at the 2015 Royal Television Awards for Best Regional programme at ITV News Tyne Tees and for best main presenter, our very own Pam Royle winning for a second year in a row
