Which is exactly where our Channels team come in.

Our investment in programming is primarily funded by television and online advertising revenue. We sell all of our key demographics across 13 regional licences, with more targeted advertising on the ITV Hub. The teams in ITV Commercial are responsible for strategically partnering with agencies and advertisers building new digital capabilities and delivering data-driven TV advertising by creatively integrating brands with our content. 

As the masterminds who decide what we see on our screens, they keep our channels packed with the best in high quality programming. That means dramas, soaps, celebrity and reality fly on the wall compulsive viewing, factual programming, news, sport, and more. We also ensure that we knit the commercial side together with the creative side of our business.

Working in Channels is the ultimate team game and many parts of the business contribute to what we see on our screens. As a team they make sure ITV has all the angles covered, from commissioning to transmission, marketing, research and insight, promotion and branding to the content production across all our platforms.  

In a nutshell, working here means controlling everything we put onscreen, online and even on mobile – while making sure we deliver a profit to our shareholders.
