Our Sales Operations team is a place where you can really make things happen.

Here, we spend our time focusing on how we can work together to change the game and build a new kind of relationship with our audiences and our customers.

Here’s what our teams look after…

Internal Sales team

Our Internal Sales team fulfils the deals negotiated by our Trading team across TV and VoD throughout the year. That means everything from dealing with agencies and clients, handling customers, and delivering campaigns in line with all terms and conditions of a deal. What’s more, they’re also responsible for maximising trading balances and revenue growth by optimising airtime and upselling premium content.

Station Management team

Our Station Management team are responsible for servicing our client teams when it comes to booking airtime across all of our channels. They also deal with airtime optimisation, monitoring sales of specials, compliance of airtime booked and co-ordination of inventory. Plus, they monitor and forecast revenue for the pricing mechanisms used to deliver deals while overseeing the delivery of VoD campaigns.

Sales Operations Planning team

Sales Operations Planning works closely with Commercial, Broadcast and Finance to make sure they deliver an efficient sales operation. It’s all about analysing the relationship between Supply and Demand across our channels, staying on top of current and long-term schedules, and valuing the rights for future commissions, tournaments and programme genres.

Commercial Analysis team

Commercial Analysis is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining commercial break patterns together with quantitative forecasting of viewing across a range of different audiences. The team creates forecasts across a number of demographics for all commercial breaks on each of the ITV family of channels, and keeps them under constant review so that we always know which adverts are best placed in which breaks.
