Our HR teams work closely with the rest of the business to guide and inspire us all to do things the ITV Way.

They enable success, drive cultural change, deliver efficiencies, and support people management and development.

And they include HR Business Planning, which helps deliver our overall strategy. HR Services and Operations, which keep all our systems running smoothly. Plus specialist teams who look after Rewards and Pensions, Resourcing, Wellbeing, Talent and Development, Workplace Services, and more.

The kind of roles you’ll find here range from HR Business Partners, Heads of HR, and HR Managers through to Analysts, Advisers and Assistants. Put simply, it's an incredibly diverse range of people from many different backgrounds. All playing an equal, collaborative and considerate role in helping everyone at ITV be the best they can be.

Here’s a quick overview of our HR teams…

HR Business Partnering

Each of our Business Partnering teams are aligned to a specific part of our business. That could be Commercial, Data Centre of Excellence, Data Insights, HR, Legal, or Technology - and each works closely with their business area.

Their challenge is to help deliver our overall strategy, support development opportunities, manage talent and succession, and deliver restructuring. While day to day, they look after disciplinaries and grievances, team development, restructuring; reward and progression, and more.

HR Services & Operations

HR Services is the team responsible for keeping HR processes running smoothly. Based in Manchester, they manage all transactional activity and other admin that flows through HR. That includes over 3,300 contractual documents, 160 flexible working applications, and 550 season ticket loans each year.

HR Operations makes sure all our policies, procedures and processes are up to date and ready to go if new employment legislation is passed. All while staying on top of essential project work like the introduction of new HR systems and the integration of new businesses.

Reward & Pensions

At ITV, we’re big on rewarding excellence. Our Reward Centre of Expertise makes sure we live up to our reputation as a diversity and equality focused employer which helps us develop and retain talent. This includes managing and delivering our comprehensive reward and benefits package, and monitoring our commitment to equal pay. 

Our Pensions Centre of Expertise is there to support people who leave and join us, and anyone else who needs advice and guidance on their pension. Our pension scheme itself is valued in excess of £3.5 billion and provides benefits for over 27,000 current and former ITV people, which means there's a lot to do. In fact, everything from day to day administration, to strategic planning and communications, to budget monitoring.

Resourcing, Talent, Development, & Wellbeing

We’re not just committed to helping people find careers here at ITV. We also have a dedicated Resourcing, Talent, Development and Wellbeing team. All of who are on hand make sure everyone has the tools and resources they need to be themselves - and be their best.

Our Resourcing team alone manages 800 roles a year and we fill an average of 42% by internal movement. Our Talent Management & Succession Planning team makes sure we have the right people in the right roles, so we can deliver our More than TV strategy. It's all about helping people grow so they're ready to take the next step in their career.

Next, our Development team is responsible for making sure we all have the right capability and skills. For example, our Talking Performance approach; gives us the tools to support our performance management conversations. And we also offer a number of practical workshops too, from building resilience and mental health awareness to presenting with confidence and improving your productivity. Not to mention our online learning portal, My Academy.

And, our Diversity and Inclusion team work across the business to advise and guide people on all aspects of diversity and inclusion. This could include offering advice on workplace adjustments. Or sharing information on supporting our ITV Employee Networks. Or even providing support through our recruitment process.

Workplace Services

A business like ours comes with more than just a huge variety of roles – it also comes with a huge variety of physical locations. So, the big challenge for our Workplace Services team is to look after all kinds of offices in all kinds of places across the globe. Not to mention all kinds of people from many different backgrounds, too.

First and foremost, the team is responsible for providing a safe and secure working environment for all ITV people, plus guests and visitors. That includes managing, developing and continually reviewing robust strategic security plans. And delivering a huge range of facilities services and workplace projects - wherever and whenever they're needed.
