Our work experience opportunities allow you to get involved and gain hands-on experience within an ITV Studios envrionment wherever possible.

Here are some comments from people who have benefited from work experience and how it has helped them develop careers within our brilliant industry.

“I started out shadowing the editorial team on Love Island, before joining 'The Voice' as a call centre Runner, and then as a Production Runner. It was an unbeatable hands-on experience, and I couldn't recommend it enough as a means to get into the industry.”

Victoria Liebman

“I was lucky enough to be part of the 'Love Island Aftersun' team for 2 weeks, which involved everything from sitting in on creative meetings to acting as a stand-in on set. It was brilliant for my career, and I’m currently working as a Production Runner on Strictly Come Dancing. Thank you ITV for having me on board!”

Natalie Fatemi

“My work experience involved shadowing the production team on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. I got to experience every aspect of the show’s production, from finding props, background music and locations, to helping out with audience casting. The knowledge and experience that I have gained from this experience will excel my progress into the television industry.”

Mitchell Taylor

“My two weeks with the Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway team definitely shaped the rest of my TV experience. It exposed me to so many different areas and helped me figure out which areas of production I would like to get into. I am now currently working as a Junior Researcher on Channel 4's 'Big Fat Quiz of the Year', but the lessons I learned during work experience were priceless.”

Olukorede Solomon

“I completed 2 weeks unpaid work experience as a Runner with MultiStory Media. Even though it all happened remotely thanks to the pandemic, I got to work on episodes of 'The Tonight Programme' that had massive viewer numbers like the Covid-19 pre-Christmas special. It would have been great to have done it in person, but I still gained a huge amount and enjoyed it immensely.”
