ITV loves being on message
Our Communications team makes sure we all stay current and consistent by handling all internal and external PR and messaging, both proactive and reactive, right across our business.
So, one day they could be sharing our financial reporting with key business titles. And the next they could be telling the entertainment press about the trials and tribulations of contestants on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
As communications roles go, the variety on offer is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before (a bit like the diversity of our workforce itself!). And whether you join us internally, externally, in Programme Publicity, or in Corporate Comms, you’ll also discover that our ‘three Cs and a G’ are at the heart of any message we communicate.
Our Programme Publicity team handles all external PR pro-actively and reactively, and promotes all our key programmes across Entertainment and Drama, Factual and Daytime, and News and Sport. It’s exciting, challenging stuff.
Working on the corporate side of things is much the same as Programme Publicity. But instead of promoting our shows, the focus is on publicising the three main areas of our business – Broadcast, ITV Studios and Commercial & Online – and delivering the PR strategy that supports our strategic goals. Exciting and challenging? You bet it is.
We create and sell world-class television around the globe, and it’s up to our Internal Communications team to keep everyone who works here up to speed with what’s happening. The team brings our ITV strategy and brand to life across a wide range of digital platforms in a creative, innovative way that’s tuned in to our culture – and designed to motivate, engage and inspire our internal audiences in the UK and around the world.
Our social purpose is about using the power of ITV to shape culture for good. We use our creativity and scale to inspire positive change in the world and nurture a responsible and inclusive working environment. The Social Purpose team helps the business deliver our four priorities which are; championing better mental and physical health; fostering creativity by embracing diversity and inclusion; reducing our impact on the environment; and giving back.
