ITV loves a team you can count on

Did you know there’s no such thing as a typical finance job? At least there’s not at ITV.

That’s because our finance teams consist of an incredibly wide range of roles that touch every element of our business - from Product Placement to Pensions, from Take Me Out to Tax, and from working with Corrie to dealing with the City – and which more than match our business-wide approach to diversity.

Our teams operate across the country, in a number of locations. Some people work solely on specific programmes, while others take on the usual stuff like Tax, Procurement, Treasury and Technical Accounting, but everyone is committed to putting our ‘three Cs and a G’ into action.

Another thing they all have in common is that the work of every single team – from programme idea to on-screen transmission – is absolutely crucial to our success. That’s why we’re always looking for people who can be open and involved, who can see beyond the numbers, and who can work alongside the rest of the business to make decisions and create dialogue every step of the way.


Here’s what our Finance teams do…

Group Finance

Group Finance is where it all happens. The team such as the Finance Analysts and Financial Controllers work closely with all finance and business departments, pulling together the results and analysis from Broadcast & Online and from all our Studio divisions around the world. The big challenges include producing half and full year accounts so that we can report to the stock exchange, and delivering our Group budget and 5 year plan report to the Board.


Our Procurement team includes Procurement Manager’s for Production, Technology, Travel, Marketing and Workplace Services, and the focus is firmly on reducing risk and making processes faster, more efficient and audit traceable.

Business Service Centre

Based in Manchester, our Business Service Centre support our Studios and Broadcast divisions in making great programmes and maximising revenues and work in partnership with our Group Finance teams. It’s split into seven teams who all work closely together: Talent & Royalty Payments, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Payroll, Record to Report and Change.

It’s all about processing high volumes of finance transactions every day, including invoicing, billing, auditing expense reports, preparing management accounts and paying suppliers, performers and staff. To name a few. Good job there’s around 140 talented and customer focused people on the team such as Management Accountants, Payroll Assistants and Royalty Payments Executives.
