Procurement: redefined

Creative. Strategic. Sustainable.

We’re redefining procurement at ITV to support our digital transformation. Do you have what it takes to be part of it?

At ITV, we’re changing. We’re becoming More Than TV.

We’re no longer just about creating programmes - we’ve added more types of entertainment and innovative distribution platforms to bring our customers closer to the action. And that means procurement is changing too. In fact, our digital transformation demands a different approach to delivering value through procurement. It’s a future where we’ll play a leading part in the digital age, as we embrace streaming, and find new ways of working that make our business more efficient, agile and responsive. It means working in partnership with the business to help solve problems and deliver more value. And if you think you have what it takes to be part of it, we’d love to meet you.

A digital future demands a different approach to delivering value through procurement

Right now, we’re moving towards cloud, digital, and SaaS technology. It won’t just change the way our audiences interact with our content. It will decisively change the way we work too.

It’s about finding new ways to add value, generate incredible insights, and use our creativity to help save money that we can reinvest back into the business. And it’s about enabling our colleagues and the business to achieve their goals as well as ours.

It will also be about social purpose, too. As part of the procurement team, you’ll play a vital role in reducing our emissions and improving the diversity in our supply chain.

“At ITV, we procure with social purpose - that means our social purpose goals are factored into the decisions we make the value we deliver. In Travel, we have put sustainability at the forefront of conversations with our key suppliers and have recently worked with the business to implement a new solution to help us track and reduce our carbon emissions.”

Imelda - Travel and Procurement Manager

Who are we looking for?

This is not your typical procurement career. It’s an opportunity to really add value upstream, and to ITV as a whole. So, we want people who can embed themselves in a wide range of business areas, and who can really champion procurement in those areas, too.

You’ll have experience of procurement, but you might also have a track record in consulting and managing change projects, or digital transformation, or anywhere that focuses on business partnering and encourages creative approaches to problem solving.

It’s about thinking outside the box, learning quickly, and developing innovative ways of working. But above all, it's about understanding what ITV is trying to achieve and partnering with the business to make it happen.

“Now is a great time to join the ITV procurement team. We have several Procurement Business Partner roles available at all different experience levels. Successful candidates will work in partnership with the business and have a huge role to play in helping the delivery of ITV’s digital transformation and long term strategy.”

Jay - Director of Group Procurement
