How production labels hire for permanent roles

Shows that run all year round - namely the soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale and much of our daytime output, Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will hire many people on a fixed term or permanent contract basis to maintain continuity of expertise.

Other fixed term/permanent positions across our business include production management roles, as well as opportunities in our core management teams and business support functions such as HR and finance.

We advertise permanent and fixed term roles like these on ITVCareers.com.

How the recruitment process for fixed term and permanent roles works

Once you’ve found a role you wish to apply for, we’ll ask you to register at ITV Careers and apply via the Job Search and Apply page. If you meet the criteria and are shortlisted for the role, we’ll ask you to attend a selection process that may include an interview and often a practical assessment too - both are designed around the specific requirements of the role.

Your practical assessment will involve a task related to the role (eg. checking equipment if you’re applying for a camera crew role, or a sewing test if you’re applying for a costume role).

We have some FAQs that may help you here.
