ITV Academy's Production Finance Traineeship

Launching this year, ITV Academy's Production Finance Traineeships will give 6 individuals the opportunity to kickstart their finance careers with a company that creates award-winning TV all over the world.

You’ll work alongside some of the most experienced Production Accountants in the industry, picking up skills across production finance. We’re looking for people who love to adapt and evolve with change, and thrive in a production environment.

.

Our first ever ITV Academy Production Finance Traineeship is a fantastic opportunity to start your career with Britain’s most popular commercial broadcaster. The 12-month programme will give you the chance to learn from, train with, and be mentored by some of the best production accountants in the industry, and experience working on award-winning shows across entertainment, daytime, continuing drama, and factual.

It’s so much more than finance, it’s a position at the heart of production. That means constantly changing demands. So you should be ready to not just embrace change, but evolve, and thrive in response to it.

It all starts in September 2023. We’ll be giving 6 budding Production Finance Assistants an incredible step into our industry.

You can join us in London or Manchester. If you’re based outside of London, you’ll receive a salary of £22,000, and this increases to £25,000 with a London weighting. You’ll also enjoy a generous holiday allowance, with the option to buy more, and an annual bonus opportunity. We also make sure we’re helping you live a balanced and healthy life through a range of opportunities, such as wellbeing and volunteering days.

The ITV Academy Production Finance Traineeship aims to provide opportunities for those looking to start their career in Production Finance. We’re therefore particularly keen to receive applications from candidates who identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent people, and those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. We recognise that such individuals are currently underrepresented in our industry and want to lead the change. If you need assistance with your application, please contact talkingcareers@itv.com.

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in finance and production, have a minimum pass GCSE Maths grade 6 or above, or equivalent experience, and be committed to a career in our industry. You’ll also need to be over the age of 18 by 1st October 2023.
