Applying to ITV with a disability

Home > Blog > Applying to ITV with a disability

If you have a disability, we want to make sure you can thrive in our recruitment process...

which is why we’re taking a number of steps to ensure your needs are met.

Here’s how our commitment works:

  • If you meet the minimum criteria for a role and you have a disability, we'll guarantee you'll get to the next stage. The minimum criteria needs to be measurable from your CV/Screening questions and answers. There may be a few exceptions where we are not able to take all eligible candidates to the next stage due to the volume of applications.
  • We’ll check at each point of the application process if you need anything to help you thrive. For example, you might need to submit your application in a different format, or you may need extra time if the process involves a test, or you might even need to bring a personal assistant with you.
  • If you have any questions about our commitment to this process, please get in touch with our resourcing team at talkingcareers@itv.com
  • Finally, if you’re successful and you do join us, we’ll be in touch soon after we’ve made an offer for a chat to find out what you need to be your best here at ITV, and we’ll work with our partner organisation, Microlink, to assess your needs.

ITV is for everyone and here is how you find out how to apply

At ITV we take diversity and inclusion seriously, we have a clear strategy to drive change. When you apply for a role here we’ll also ask you to share your diversity data (like your gender, ethnicity, etc). We ask this information for monitoring purposes and to help us measure how fair our recruitment process is. You can also explore more information on our FAQ's page

The hiring team won’t see this information, unless it refers to a disability so we can meet our commitment to offering you an interview if you meet the minimum criteria for the role.

Making sure we are accessible

All our job opportunities are also on Evenbreak, an AAA specialist job board run by disabled people for disabled people.

Alternatively, if you need to discuss an alternative way to submit your application, we’ll always try to meet your individual needs wherever possible. To find out more, you can email us directly at talkingcareers@itv.com.
